Booking Confirmation Checklist

On booking your holiday with Fahy Travel please review the below requirements and ensure that all members of your party are advised accordingly.


Before you go, please check the following:

  • Passengers' names must be the same as the names on their passports
  • Name changes are not allowed by many airlines
  • All passengers, including children under 16, require machine-readable passports.
  • For travel to most countries, passports must remain valid for at least 6 months after the return date of your holiday. Please contact the embassy of your destination country for the most up-to-date information. 


Travel insurance is compulsory on Package Holidays. If you choose not to purchase our insurance, please confirm that you have arranged alternative travel insurance and will submit this information to our Tour Operator prior to travel. You must bring your travel insurance policy with you. We strongly recommend that all passengers are fully insured to cover cancellation fees, medical expenses, baggage etc. and we would be happy to quote you for travel insurance.

We also use personal data about other individuals provided by you, such as those people on your booking.

By providing other people’s personal data, you confirm that they agree to this and you are allowed to provide it. You should also ensure that, where appropriate, they understand how their personal data may be used by us.


Please check to see if you require a visa for your destination from the correct embassy. Should you require a visa it is recommended that you apply to the relevant embassy well in advance of travel. It is your responsibility to ensure your visa requirements have been met.

Children travelling to certain destinations may require additional paper work, even when travelling with their parents.


Vaccinations are required for certain destinations; please consult the Tropical Medical Bureau (www.tmb.ie) or your doctor.


All flights have restrictions and extra carries charges apply, if changes are allowed. Most tickets are non-refundable and many are non-changeable.

Ryanair - online check in

This facility is available from 7 days up to the online Check-in deadline. We require a copy of all passport details for this facility. NO further changes can be made to passenger name (s), flight dates, times and route once a Passenger is checked in on-line

Resort Fees/Tourist Taxes

A number of European and Mediterranean countries have what is called a Tourist Tax payable locally. Resort fees are also payable in many American hotels for the use of hotel facilities. These cannot be prepaid and will be collected at check in or checkout.


Unless otherwise stated all deposits are non-refundable. Holiday balances are due 10-12 weeks in advance of travel, depending on the tour operator. We are not in a position to extend payment deadlines, and holidays not paid in full by the deadline will be cancelled by the tour operator.

It is your responsibility to review the terms & conditions of the tour operator your package holiday is booked with and our terms & conditions are available on our website.
