Booking Confirmation Checklist
Name Changes: Name changes are generally not allowed by many airlines.
Machine-Readable Passports: All passengers, including children under 16, must have a machine-readable passport.
Passport Validity: For most international destinations, passports must remain valid for at least 6 months after your return date. We recommend contacting the embassy of your destination country for the most current requirements.
2. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory for all Package Holidays. If you choose not to purchase our insurance, please confirm that you have arranged alternative coverage and provide this information to your Tour Operator prior to travel. You must bring your travel insurance policy with you. We strongly recommend that all passengers are fully insured to cover cancellation fees, medical expenses, baggage, and other travel-related issues. 3. GDPR (Data Protection)
At Fahy Travel, we prioritize your privacy and handle your personal information in compliance with EU data protection laws. Please review our Privacy Policy on our website for further details.
When providing personal data for other individuals (e.g., those in your booking party), you confirm that they agree to this and that you are authorized to provide their information. Ensure that they are aware of how their data will be used by us.
4. Visas
Please check with the correct embassy to see if you require a visa for your destination. If a visa is necessary, we recommend applying well in advance of your travel. It is your responsibility to ensure that all visa requirements are met for your trip. Note that children traveling to certain destinations may need additional documentation, even when traveling with their parents.
5. Vaccinations
Vaccinations may be required for certain destinations. Please consult the Tropical Medical Bureau (www.tmb.ie) or your doctor for advice on recommended vaccinations for your trip.
6. Flights
Flight Restrictions: All flights come with restrictions, and extra charges may apply for changes (if allowed). Most tickets are non-refundable, and many are non-changeable.
Ryanair Online Check-In: Ryanair allows online check-in from 7 days before departure until the check-in deadline. For this, we require a copy of all passport details. Once a passenger is checked in online, no changes can be made to the passenger name(s), flight dates, times, or route.
7. Resort Fees / Tourist Taxes
Certain European and Mediterranean countries, as well as hotels in the US, may charge a Tourist Tax or Resort Fees for the use of hotel facilities. These fees cannot be prepaid and must be paid locally at check-in or check-out.
8. Deposit and Balances
Deposits: Unless otherwise specified, all deposits are non-refundable.
Final Balances: Holiday balances are typically due 10-12 weeks before your travel date, depending on the tour operator. We cannot extend payment deadlines, and holidays that are not paid in full by the deadline may be cancelled by the tour operator.
